ABOUT ME

Julian Tate is a model and artist born in Southern California. They first started their modeling journey through a self-portrait photography series highlighting their mental health struggles with loneliness, depression, and body image issues. After letting someone else behind the camera, they found a natural talent for modeling and began to build their skills by collaborating with local photographers and designers.

In May 2021, Julian made her debut with an interview with VoyageLA sharing their creative process and the struggles they have overcome. Showing off their multifaceted talents in creative directing, styling, and modeling, Julian glosses the pages of Issue 49, Vol. 9 of Shuba Magazine and the debut issue of BadBad Magazine.

In August 2021, Julian elevated their skills when they were selected to attend the Coco Rocha Model Camp where they learned techniques in posing, emoting, and runway. During their time in New York, they got the rare opportunity to model for photographers Matthew Priestley and Sophie Elgort.
